Primary Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operations liaison between the firm and clients. Under your Manager’s direction, serve as the primary technical advisor to clients on all group insurance issues. Interface effectively and confidently with senior management of clients and/or prospects, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner.
  • Lead strategy for fully-insured and or self-insured accounts with 50-200 benefit eligible employees 500 lives or larger accounts
  • Prepare Annual Service Plan, Compensation Disclosure, and Client Stewardship reports for each client. Meet with clients quarterly or as necessary.
  • Oversee renewal and marketing efforts and take a lead role in carrier selection and/or financial negotiations.
  • Oversee/approve all vendor, plan design, and financial recommendations.
  • Write Executive Summary for Annual Renewal/Marketing report.
  • Prepare implementation schedule.
  • Review drafts of all employee communication pieces.
  • Review and sign-off on all agreements and/or documents.
  • Schedule and lead client meetings and attend enrollment meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure that data in BenefitPoint is loaded and updated annually for all assigned clients.Supervise account management team in preparation of Monthly Experience Reporting, Mid-Year Report, and Annual Renewal/Marketing Report.Coordinate and direct the efforts of all team members to fulfill service responsibilities, objectives, and the overall effectiveness of the team.

  • Interprets and evaluates plan offerings to ensure adequate coverage for Client’s identified risk tolerance.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships and interfaces with carriers, and other vendors.
  • Identify new markets for submission and seeks quote requests.
  • Identifies gaps in coverage or cross-sell opportunities and provides related recommendations to supervisor/Producer.
